　ハーバード大学２年生のときのザッカーバーグのメッセンジャーでの友人とのやりとりが暴露されたのだ。

ザッカーバーグ「ハーバードの誰かの情報が欲しければ言ってくれ。４０００以上のメールや写真、アドレス、ＳＮＳを持っているから」
友人「何だって？　どうやって手に入れたんだ？」
ザッカーバーグ「送ってきたんだよ。なぜかね。『オレを信用している』んじゃないか。まったくバカな奴らだ」

　フェイスブックを立ち上げたばかりの７年ほど前のやりとりだ。フェイスブックで個人情報を提供した利用者を「バカな奴ら」とあざ笑った。ネットはこわい。若いころの軽薄なやりとりが今頃になってメディアの手に渡ってしまったわけだ。
　こうしたことは繰り返しこれからも起こるだろう。
　後で言い逃れできない実名サイトという恐るべきものを広めた張本人は、ほかの誰よりもその恐さを思い知るべきなのかもしれない。
